The Hospital for Sick Children first opened it doors at 49 Great Ormond Street on Valentine's Day, 1852, with ten beds. Today over 150,000 children are treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital every year. Their service is recognized all over the world as being one of the top children hospitals.

GOSH provides inspirational and world class care to hundreds of children every day but need to raise over £50 million every year to help keep the magic alive. In addition, they need to redevelop the hospital to provide better patient facilities and advance on technologies.
